WHO WE ARE
The Northern Studios is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Northern School of Art – on the board of directors we have representation from the project funder, local council, and an independent director from the screen industry.

Tees Valley Combined Authority & the Office of the Tees Valley Mayor
The Tees Valley Combined Authority was created to drive economic growth and job creation in the Tees Valley region.
The Authority is a partnership of five authorities – Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees – working closely with the Local Enterprise Partnership, wider business community and other partners to make local decisions to support the growth of the region’s investment & economy. Northern Film & Media
Northern Film + Media (NFM) is the North East of England’s screen development agency. NFM work with businesses and professionals specialising in film, TV and screen-based arts, primarily through its talent development projects, events and production service. Screen Yorkshire
